Introduction
This Article will outline the process of connecting to the EDI-Partners instance of Axway’s B2bi software.
Steps to Connect to B2Bi
Step1: Connect to the EDI-Partners Virtual Private Network via FortiClient
- Go to the Windows Start Menu Search
- Type in FortiClient and open the FortiClient application
- Fill in the following values
- VPN Setting : SSL-VPN
- Connection Name: Flexiental Axway
- Remote gateway: 66.129.114.84
- Activate the Customize Port Checkbox add the # 10443 to the right of the checkbox
- Client certificate: None
- Enter the User Name and Password provided by the Admin
- Click Save
Step2: Connect to the VPN
- From the start menu, open the FortiClient Application
- Select the previously created connection named “Flexiental Axway”
- Enter in the Username and Password provided to you
- Click Connect
- Accept the following message
Step3: Connect to the Axway b2bi Site
- Open a Web Browser; (ex. Chrome, Firefox)
- Traverse to: Https://edip-prod:6443
- An Unsecure site warning will appear
- Right click in the body of the site and type “thisisunsafe” and hit "Enter"
- The site will Load, Type in your Username and Password
Step4: Edit the host file
- Open the host file located in: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
- Add the following to the bottom of the file : 172.16.80.10 wally
10.1.5.10 edip-prod
10.1.5.11 edip-test
10.10.10.12 EDIP-DMZSRV01
10.1.5.13 EDIPSentinel
10.1.5.14 dogbert3
10.1.5.15 ratbert3
