Configuring Trading Pickup

How to Configure a new Trading Pickup

Enter Community Information: Choose the related community where the connection will reside by selecting trading configuration from the top tool bar in B2Bi.

In the flow, select the trading pickup icon.

Click the "Add Pickup" hyperlink at the bottom of the page.

• Configure Message Protocol: Select "EDINT AS2 (HTTP)" as the message protocol
  
• Choose HTTP Transport: Choose "Use system's global embedded HTTP server" to dictate the URL used.
  
• Name Pickup Directory: Create a name for the pickup directory following the naming convention: EDIP-AS2-CLIENTNAME.
  
• Name Exchange: Use the following format to name each exchange based on the scenario.
  
  • Prefix: Start with a prefix that identifies the purpose or type of exchange for example 'TP'. 
  • Identifier: Include a clear identifier for the partner from whom the messages are being received to clarify the direction of the communication. The 'AS2' represents data being pushed to 'EDIP'

                             ex: TP-AS2-EDIP-PartnerName

Save Changes:

Save the configuration. The pickup will be added to the list of pickups associated with the community.

3. Change the "URL used by Partner" value to match the file location created.

6. Change the message processing to "limited."

Click "Save Changes" to finalize the configuration.
